The Kampung Ukong Consultative Council on 1st June morning organised the Adau Gayoh celebration. Held as part of the efforts to preserve Dusun culture and heritage, the celebration took place at the Kampung Ukong Sports Complex in Tutong District.

Among those attending was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya'akub, Member of the Legislative Council. A variety of cultural activities were lined up including Dusun language translation competition, Gulintangan competition, and the Best Dress Competition involving various ethnic groups. The celebration served as a platform to showcase the unique Dusun culture, revive traditional games, and encourage youths to take part in cultural activities.
