The first group of the country's haj pilgrims departed from King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah at 9:22 at night Saudi Arabia time.

Present at the airport to bid farewell was Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, Acting Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah.
