By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, it is hereby announced that His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to appoint and promote Yang Mulia Syed Azmal bin Syed Ali, Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau as Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The date of appointment and promotion of the said senior officer is effective from Thursday, 17th Zulhijjah, 1447 corresponding 4th of June, 2026.
