Employers are reminded to ensure that employment passes are always valid and that they are employed according to the positions allowed and stated in the passport. The warning was issued by the Immigration and National Registration Department after two foreign nationals were apprehended during an 'Operasi Kakas' targeting a canteen in Mukim Gadong 'B'.

13 foreigners were inspected and two of them were apprehended and brought to the Law Enforcement Section for further investigation. One individual was believed to be working using a visit pass, while the other individual was working not according to the position stated on the passport and failed to produce valid documents.
