The migration of attitudes, from a less favourable situation to a better situation that is pleasing to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, was among the highlights in conjunction with the Ilal Hijrah Celebration organised by Mukim Mentiri Consultative Council. The ceremony took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Mentiri National Housing, 17th June early morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council. The event included mass subuh prayer, followed by a talk titled “Hijrah Penyelamat Aqidah, Umur Menjadi Berkah" delivered by Awang Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, Education Officer, Counseling Division, Ministry of Education. The event continued with a walkathon.
