The Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office has issued a compound fine to a business premise for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, namely piling up used construction materials and waste at public areas.

HARI-HARI MAJU ENTERPRISE committed the offence at Jalan Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Tutong Town. The company was imposed with a BND2,000 compound fine and given 7 days to settle the fine. If in default, the company can be brought to court and if found guilty can be fined not less than BND2,000 and not exceeding BND10,000. For the second and subsequent offence, a fine of not less than BND10,000 and not more than BND30,000 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months or both.
