The Ministry of Defence held the Ilal Hijrah Celebration simultaneously at the selected mosques and religious halls in all four districts as well as at all Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF garrison surau, camps and bases, including the Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. The main focus was at Kampung Bebuloh Religious Hall, 19th June morning.

Present Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri AWANG Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The event included a talk or tazkirah titled “Hijrah Penyelamat Aqidah" and donation presentation to six asnaf and four orphans. Also held, Doa Kesyukuran to celebrate the Hajj pilgrims among Ministry of Defence personnel and the local community.
