His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received in audience Her Excellency Caryn Roberta McClelland, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam. At the ceremony, His Royal Highness expressed appreciation to Her Excellency for her contributions to further strengthening the longstanding friendship and close cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the United States of America. During her tenure, both countries continued to deepen cooperation across a range of areas, including defence, education, trade and investment, and people-to-people exchanges. The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Izzah, 20th June afternoon.

His Excellency received in audience Her Excellency Caryn Roberta McClelland. Her Excellency presented her Letter of Credence to His Majesty on the 24th of May 2022.
