The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the departments under it held an Ilal Hijrah Celebration ceremony. It was hosted by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food at the Dewan Setia Pahlawan of the ministry, 20th June morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The ceremony was enlivened with a Special Talk titled ''Sabar dan Redha: Serupa Tapi Tak Sama", delivered by Awang Muhamad Waqiyuddin Fakhri bin Haji Damit, Founder of Syarikat Sofwah. The ceremony aimed to enliven the celebration of Islamic event, as well as strengthen ties. Also present was Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.​
