As part of the effort to further enlivened the 1448 Ilal Hijrah Celebration, congregants of Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with RPN Rimba Village Heads, Mukim Gadong A, conducted a walkathon and special talk. It was held at the mosque, 21st June morning.

The event included mass Fardhu Subuh prayer and and Ilal Hijrah Talk titled 'Jangan Takut Berubah'. The talk emphasised that the change towards goodness is the Sunnah of the Prophet and the path to success in this world and the hereafter. The talk also shared tips for true change, including strengthening the relationship with Allah Ta'ala through prayer.

Also held was a warming-up session and Walkathon that began and ended at Masjid Universiti.
