The Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam from Makkah to Madinah is an event from which there are many lessons to improve oneself and form commendable qualities in individuals and society. The story of the Prophet's migration was among the contents of a talk during the Ilal Hijrah 1448 Celebration Ceremony for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the departments under it. The ceremony was held on 22nd June morning at the ministry.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minsiter of Culture, Youth and Sports. Titled 'Hijrah Penyelamat Aqidah', the talk delivered by Awang Haji Muhammad Najib bin Haji Awang, Religious Development Officer, Islamic Da'wah Centre, among others outlined the history of the Prophet's migration which should be used as a reflection in strengthening the unity and harmony of society. The ceremony also celebrated the return of the Haj pilgrims, consisting of officers and staff of the ministry.
