In enlivening the Hijrah New Year 1448 celebration, the Prime Minister's Office and the departments under it, held the Hijrah New Year celebration, 24th June morning. With the theme 'Hijrah Penyelamat Aqidah,' the ceremony took place at the Prime Minister's Office.

In attendance were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Security and Law; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Mohammad Hanifah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Energy, Upstream and Downstream. The ceremony commenced with the reading of Al-Quran verses, followed by a special lecture titled 'Hijrah Penyelamat Aqidah,' delivered by Awang Haji Muhammad Najib bin Haji Awang, Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Da'wah Centre.

The ceremony was organised by the National Security Coordination Centre, Prime Minister's Office together with the Public Service Commission.​
