The Ministry of Health organised the Ilal Hijrah celebration and Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to welcome the return of the haj medical officer delegation as well as the ministry's haj pilgrims. Co-organised with the Department of Pharmaceutical Services, the ceremony took place at the ministry, 24th June morning.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The ceremony included a talk titled 'Haji Mabrur, Hijrah Berterusan: Menyuburkan Ihsan dalam Perkhidmatan Kesihatan.' Dikir Marhaban was also held to welcome the return of 20 medical officers and nurses as well as 35 haj pilgrims from the ministry.
