As a continuation of the Borneo History Lecture Programme, the Brunei History Centre through the Borneo Studies Centre Division (penBORNEO) held a History Recreation Programme with the Tunas Scouts. Held in conjunction with the 2nd Borneo Island Historic Project, it took place at the Borneo Studies Centre Building in Berakas.

The programme was attended by 40 members of the Brunei Darussalam Scout Federation. Activities included a Borneo history quiz, a history and culture briefing and storytelling of Borneo. The programme was hoped to increase public awareness of the importance of Borneo's history.
