The Tutong District Senior Citizens Activity Centre held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony for Tilawah Wal Istimah Members, in conjunction with the Ilal Hijrah Celebration. It took place at the centre in Tutong Town, 29th June morning.

The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Acting Director of Islamic Da'wah Centre. The event aimed to strengthen brotherhood and cultivate the reading of the verses of Al-Qur'an among the community, as well as serve as a spiritual platform to seek blessings and mercy from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
