His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah's Committee of Governors, graced a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness' 43rd Birthday, 1st July afternoon.

The ceremony, organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, took place at the Yayasan Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan. Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, as a member of the Yayasan Board of Governors; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, as a member of the Yayasan Board of Governors, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education, as the Chairperson of the Yayasan Board of Directors, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Awang Haji Mohamad, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office for Civil Service Governance as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.

The reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustapa bin Awang Haji Murat who also led the Fardhu Asar Prayer. His Royal Highness then cut the birthday cake and received a pesambah.

His Royal Highness also presented a donation amounting BND74,000. The donation was handed over to the Patient Assistance Charity Fund, Ministry of Health and An-Nur Harapan.
