The Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam also held a national flag hoisting ceremony on 1st July, in conjunction with His Majesty's 80th Birthday celebration.

The ceremony involved members of the Association's Governance Committee, led by Dayang Hajah Amnah binti Haji Jublee, the Assistant Chief Commissioner of the Association. The ceremony took place at the Association's headquarters in Anggerek Desa.
