A 15-member delegation from the Republic of Korea, participating in the ten-day Brunei Darussalam-Republic of Korea Youth Exchange Programme starting 24th of June, was feted at a Farewell Lunch. Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the event took place at a hotel in Gadong.

In attendance was Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also present was His Excellency Sun Nahmkook, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam. The event included a video screening followed by a cultural performance by the Republic of Korea delegation, as well as the presentation of certificates and souvenirs. The Youth Exchange Programme between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Korea aims to foster friendship in an atmosphere of harmony and camaraderie through healthy interaction, while providing an opportunity to share and exchange views and experiences.
