The First SEA Deaf Games 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia started yesterday until 27th November 2022. Yesterday morning, 13 Brunei Darussalam Contingent comprising 6 athletes and 7 officials left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to participate in the tournament.
At the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell was Pengiran Mohammad Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The National Contingent is led by Awang Khairul Anwar bin Haji Jofari as Chef de Mission of Brunei Darussalam National Contingent. The sports games are reserved for the Deaf, OKP in the ASEAN region and it is the first sports programme to be organised.
