​The Minister of Development also shared the ministry's efforts towards enhancing public well-being by providing safe, high quality and affordable houses.

The Minister explained that through the 11th National Development Plan, two housing projects are in the first stage of implementation. One involves one thousand houses under Phase Two of Kampung Lugu National Housing. It is expected to be completed at the end of 2023. The other is Phase 7 of Kampung Tanah Jambu National Housing involving 950 houses expected to be completed in January 2025. Through miscellaneous provision, 140 units of terrace houses at Kampung Rimba National Housing were completed in September 2022. These houses will be allocated to eligible applicants this year.
