Rank Insignia Presentation Ceremony of 24 RBAF Senior Officers24 senior officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, were promoted. The promotion was with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. Three officers were promoted to Colonel, 14 officers were promoted to Lieutenant Colonel/ Commander, Royal Brunei Navy and seven officers were promoted to Acting Lieutenant Colonel/ Commander, Royal Brunei Navy. The Rank Insignia Presentation Ceremony took place at the Officers' Mess, Bolkiah Garrison, 26th June morning.

Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the Establishment of STAKAThe Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Islamic Studies Department and MABIMS Centre for Al-Qur'an Studies and Dissemination has introduced an early educational tools for Tilawah Al-Qur'an, known as the Children's Al-Qur'an Tilawah Scheme or STAKA, starting early this year. The virtual meeting held recently also explored opportunities with ASEAN and efforts to strengthen regional and international cooperation through knowledge sharing and collaborative initiatives across the fields of education, science, culture, and communication in support of the Sustainable Development Goals across the region.

'Drug Syndicates, The Universal Enemy'Islam strictly prohibits its ummah from approaching things that can harm themselves and society such as drinking alcohol, gambling, corruption and drug abuse and all substances that impair the mind. This is because everything that intoxicates or removes sanity is haram or forbidden. Therefore, every individual must always protect themselves and stay away from getting involved in illegal drug abuse activities as such acts are not only prohibited by the Islamic and the country's laws, but can also cause various adverse effects on themselves and their close ones will also be exposed to other problems. The reminder was made during today's Friday Sermon titled, 'Drug Syndicates, The Universal Enemy'.
