Final of the National Level Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Reading, 1st Night


His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office in a sabda stresses that those who hold fast to Al-Qur'an are also those who are stronger in facing external negative influences, as well as more educated in identifying and empowering the values of the national philosophy, Malay Islamic Monarchy. His Royal Highness made the sabda at the opening of the Final of the National Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Reading for Adults 1447 Hijrah/2026. The ceremony took place at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre in Berakas, 27th April night.

6th Asian Beach Games, Teqball Final & Medal Presentation


His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Olympic Council of Asia Honorary Executive Board Member and President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, watched the Teqball final at the 6th Asian Beach Games and presented medals to the winners of the Women's Double event. It took place at Sanya Yuhai Club Venue Cluster.

A safe and healthy work environment not only protects the well-being of our workforce, but is a fundamental pillar of national progress, economic prosperity and social stability. By fostering a strong and continuous safety culture, we can strengthen the foundation for producing a highly productive workforce and building a healthier and more resilient society for generations to come. Therefore, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, as the Minister responsible for the Safety, Health and Environment National Authority, SHENA, stressed that it is important to acknowledge that a country that protects its workers, is protecting its future. Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, explained the matter in a Message in conjunction with the World Day For Safety And Health At Work 2026.

Launching of Safety Month


While significant progress has been made in managing physical and operational risks, equal attention now needs to be given to psychosocial risks. These risks include excessive workload, role ambiguity, workplace distractions and prolonged stress, all of which have the potential to impair judgment, reduce performance, and increase the risk of accidents and errors. The matter was emphasised by the Deputy Minister for Security and Law at the Prime Minister's Office, during the Launching of Safety Month 2026. Held in conjunction with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the event was held at the Design and Technology Building, Anggerek Desa.
