Parade commemorating the 72nd anniversary of the Prisons Department


The Prisons Department is planning and implementing rehabilitation programmes based on the process of Desistance. Desistance in the context of criminology and the prison system refers to the process of an individual ceasing to engage in criminal behavior and gradually returning to a positive and socially accepted life. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs, stated the matter at a Parade Commemorating the 72nd anniversary of the Prisons Department, 23rd May morning. It took place at the Parade Ground of the Prisons Department Training Centre in Tutong District.

Mobile Clinic services in the holy land conducted by the Haj Management Office for Medical is one of the efforts to ensure that the health of the country's intending haj pilgrims is always maintained. The mobile clinic not only makes it easier for intending pilgrims especially those with health problems, but also helps ensure that the country's intending pilgrims are prepared for the culmination of the haj pilgrimage. A static clinic is also in operation at Snood Ajyad Hotel.
