Zikrullah means to remember Allah. Those who continuously recites the zikir will always be close to Allah. Zikir is not limited to only reciting the name of Allah SWT, but it can be practised in various ways such as reading Al-Quran and avoiding sinful acts. This was among the contents of the dawn lecture during the 'Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat' programme at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, early yesterday morning.

The dawn lecture entitled "Kehebatan Zikrullah" or the Greatness of Zikrullah, delivered by Haji Fansuri Sharimi @ Mansur bin Mohammad Ali, Religious Development Officer, Islamic Dakwah Centre, also shared the benefits of reciting zikrullah as a daily practice, among them bringing peace and tranquility to the soul and cleansing the heart from sinful and deviant acts. Present were Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah, the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
