The young generation has the highest level of fitness in the human cycle that can contribute significantly to the community. This was proven by stories delivered in Islamic Development history that showed the youth's role and contribution in building the nation and country civilisation - in all aspects of life. Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs explained these matter at the Closing Ceremony of Nationwide Mosque Youths Camp programme, yesterday afternoon.

 

Awang Haji Mohd Serudin expressed hope that such programme will be a platform to produce exemplary youth who constantly strive to improve themselves to become good role models and practise the Muslim way of life.

 

85 mosque youth received their certificates at the event. The 3-day programme was filled with various spiritual and recreational activities as well as cleaning campaign, workshop, and visits. It is one of the events lined up under the Brunei December Festival 2017, organised by Brunei Tourism Board and conducted through the districts Mosque Affairs Office and Mosque takmir committee.
